Skyfire brings Flash videos to the iPad and iPhone in a friendly format. Over 200,000 web sites are supported. You can check out your favorite Flash video sites at www.bit.ly/site_check. Skyfire for mobile devices adds built-in social networking capabilities, including Twitter and Facebook and gives users the ability to share pages via these social networks and email. The Android app allows users to experience the social netowork integration and the company reports videos download faster, play smoother and saves up to 75% data use. OmniFocus ($39.99 | download from the iTunes store)
This is a fantastic program for those of you who have been (or are still) diehard Franklin Covey or DayTimer users who are looking for a personal task manager software for your brain dump (projects and actions). The OmniFocus database for the Mac, iPad and iPhone syncs easily across all devices. The iPad software comes with a simplified Map which allows you to see available actions closest to you as well as a Review feature mode so that you can periodically check the status of ongoing projects. This program is a bit pricey, but in my opinion, well worth the money. |

You can now feel where the keys are and rest your fingers on the home row, so you can type as fast and accurately as you can on a laptop. You can even type without looking at the screen. TouchFire cushions your fingers as you type, something both touch-typists and two-finger typists really appreciate. Typing on an iPad is no longer a pain! |
